I went to college for 2-ish years..didnt qualify with anything but got a load of individul classes, including a merit pass in Textiles and Costume Design.

My style is pretty messed up at the moment, I dont know where I am or where I'm going or even where I want to be. I'm learning, practising and surviving.

what brand of journal/sketchbook?

just a quick entry, i wondered what everyones favourite brand of journal/sketchbook is your favourite? what ones have you tried and liked?

the only ones i have tried are: Reeves A5 field sketchbook (paper doesnt like ink pads, they bleed through the pages), Daler Rowney (dont mind these but i cant find a hardback one like the Reeves book, just spiral bound which im not fond of, Moleskine (didnt like the sort of shinyness of the sketchbook version, loved the squared one but the pages are way too thin for most media and lastly the Ciak sketchbook, the quality isnt as great as its made out to be (at least in my oppinion) the paper seems really thin, so im not sure how well it will stand up to paint... but hey, it came in turquoise (my new favourite colour)

so what should i try next? any ideas?
